The NGV-C will be Australia’s largest gallery dedicated to contemporary art and design. The 30,000-square-meter facility will feature:

• Over 13,000 square meters of display space

• A 40-meter-high spherical hall known as the Omphalos

• An expansive rooftop terrace with panoramic city views

• Multi level gallery consisting of circular ramps, arched entries and spiralling walkways reaching 60 meters in height

The project is set to be open to the public in 2028.
